Notes for Mary Greta BORCHERDS
Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows that Mary Greta
Borcherds, "Bully," was a nurse and matron-in-chief of Johannesburg
Hospital. In 1951 she was awarded the Florence Nightingale Medal, the
highest honor in nursing. She was unmarried.
