Notes for Thomas Everitt MURRAY

Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows that Thomas Everitt
Murray did not survive infancy. He was christened November 13, 1835, at
St. Mark's Church, Kensington, in London, England, and was the "dear
little baby" believed to have died before the voyage to the Cape,
presumably in 1836. There is mention of another son born in 1836 and
died (in the same year?) in Grahamstown, Salem district; but perhaps the
infant son Thomas died only after arrival in Grahamstown.
