Notes for Jeremiah THURTELL

Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows that Jeremiah
Thurtell, the youngest son of John and Alice Thurtell, was mentioned in
his father's will in 1729, at which time he was underage. His father
left him one guinea of gold. His mother, in her will, 1734/5, left "to
Jeremiah Thurtell my youngest son my best bed as it stands with bedstead
& curtains wherein I myself do commonly lodge, and nine pewter dishes,
twelve pewter plates, three pewter tankards, one chest of drawers, two
tables, seven chairs, one (-?-) for roasting meat, and one fire grate and
an iron ?crane, and two brass ?bogbis ..."
