Notes for Walter Pears MURRAY
The family tree done by Harriet Thurtell about 1900 and the History of
the Thurtell Family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 show Walter
E. Thurtell married Beswick and had one child.
According to information received from Peter Murray in 1997, his name was
Walter Pears Murray, and he was Surveyor General of the Transvaal. The
address for him and his wife, Jane Elizabeth Beswick, who was from
Queenstown, was c/o Barclay's Bank, Pretoria. They had five children.
