54, born in Ohio, living with her husband Benjamin W. Thurtell, daughter
Adeline Paulson, son-in-law Charles M. Paulson, and grandson William H.
Paulson at 201 Sixth, Wilmette, Cook County, Illinois.
The U.S. Census soundex for 1900 for Illinois (SD 1, E.D. 473, Sheet 16,
Line 47) shows Abbey Thurtell to be age 41, born in Ohio in January 1859,
and living with her husband, William Thurtell, and their daughters,
Addie, Thalia, and Vivian, at 29 Nebraska Avenue, Chicago, Cook County,
Illinois. The census record itself shows both her parents were born in
New York.
