The family tree done by Harriet Thurtell about 1900 and the History of
the Thurtell Family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 show Annita
Thurtell married, but no other information.

Information received in 1997 from Peter Murray shows Anita Murray, born
May 12, 1860, for some years taught in the Mission Public School in San
Luis Obispo, and is described as "lovely and accomplished" in the History
of San Luis Obispo County. On February 27, 1889, she married Edwin Peter
Unangst, who became a lawyer and judge of the Superior Court of San Luis
Obispo for many years. His family had originally come from Germany to
settle in the United States, and he had moved west through Ohio and
Michigan, and did his law training at University of Nebraska in Omaha
before settling in California. They had three children.
