Records of Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph, Ontario, Canada, show Arthur H. Goodeve was a native of England born in 1821 and a resident of Guelph. He died October 15, 1889, due to congestion of the lungs, and was buried on October 17, 1889, in Section F, Lot 86. The lot record shows it was purchased by Arthur Goodeve on May 12, 1865, the day before his daughter, Mary Jane Goodeve, was buried. It was repossessed in 1957 and sold to the City of Guelph in 1966.
