His obituary shows George H. Maulick was born April 28, 1900, at Tennanah Lake, Roscoe, Sullivan County, New York. He was survived by four brothers, Peter of Delhi, Charles of Long Island, Alfred of New York, Walter of Warren, New Jersey, and a sister Mrs. Minnie Gundlich of White House Station, New Jersey, plus a sister-in-law, Sadie Maulick. George and Florence Maulick purchased the property later known as RR Box 0029, North Branch Road, North Branch, Sullivan County, New York, on May 21, 1949. After his death and later his widow's death, his stepdaughter, Madeline Theresa Smith Miller and her husband Charles F. Miller, lived in the house until Madeline Miller's death on September 1, 1993. George Maulick was a police officer in New York City, New York, and after retiring from the police force returned to Sullivan County in Upstate New York. He and his wife raised chickens on the property for a number of years.
