Notes for Margaret EMERY

Information received from Jeff Card in January 2000 showed that Margaret Emery was born March 3, 1706/7, married Stephen Tobey, and died a single person in 1795.

In the will of her mother Margaret Gowen Emery, which was written March 26, 1748, she is listed as Marget Emery, indicating she was not yet married. Her mother's will states "I give to my Daughter Marget Emery her Heirs & Assigns One Quarter part of my Land at Third Hill in Fee Simple. I likewise give her the Choice of my Cows Vizt One Cow."
