Notes for Richard Vance SPENCER

Dr. Richard Vance Spencer is the doctor who signed the death certificate for his father-in-law, George Withrow, who died May 31, 1916, apparently at the home of Dr. Spencer and his wife, Mary Belle Withrow Spencer, at 1445 Fifth Avenue, Chicago Heights, Cook County, Illinois.

Information received from his granddaughter, Kathy Lien, in July 1999 showed that Dr. Richard Vance Spencer was born June 29, 1879, in Ft. Ddge, Kansas, married Mary Belle Withrow on April 6, 1910, in Belleville, Kansas, and died July 11, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois.
