Notes for John Brian Thurtell MURRAY

Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows that John Brian Thurtell Murray was the son of Allen Cameron Everitt Murray, "Lal," by his first wife Unita Thorburne, "Nita." John was legally adopted by his uncle and stepfather Rory. John Murray was an accountant and settled near George, Cape Province, South Africa. He died tragically in 1977/8 having accumulated heavy debts. He married twice, first to Bridget Kennedy, by whom he had two daughters, Susan Elizabeth Murray and Diana Patricia Murray. He was divorced from Bridget and then married Sheila Roper, by whom he had one son, Rory Hi-Regan Everitt Murray.
