Notes for Percival MOORSHEAD

According to information received from Peter Murray in 1997, Percival Moorshead, "Percy," was a Government Land Surveyor in East London, South Africa, mayor of Cambridge for four years, and chairman of the East London Divisional Council for 16 years.

An e-mail received December 3, 1999, from Robin Moorshead, RMoorshead@@aol.com, stated that he had the lineage of the family of Percival back to 1664. He mailed a copy of the information he had to Susan Miller in January 2000.

A January 2000 e-mail from his grandson, Michael Moorshead, questioned that Percival Moorshead was a land surveyor for the government.
