According to the History of the Thurtell Family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 and information from the Norwich Public Library, Mary Thurtell, of Chapel Field House, Norwich, died before 1850.

She may be the Mary Ann Thurtell, daughter of Thomas Thurtell, who married Robert Dye, the son of George Dye, on July 4, 1847, with the marriage recorded at St. Nicholas, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England (source: FHL Number 1526456, from 1998 LDS British Isles Vital Records Index CD).
