The 1860 U.S. Census for Palmyra, Wayne County, New York on page 812 or page 30, shows Pliny Sexton, age 64 and a banker born in Connecticut whose real estate is valued at $20,000 and whose personal property is valued at $10,000. Living with him are Charlotte Sexton, age 40 and born in Pennsylvania with real estate worth $400; Pliny T. Sexton, age 19 and a law student born in New York whose personal property is worth $900; Sarah M. Sexton, age 30 and born in Connecticut whose real estate is valued at $1000 and personal property is valued at $2500 ; Margaret T. Sexton, age 6 and born in New York; and Esther S. Snow, age 26 and born in New York. Also living with them are Lena Tipfell, age 21 and born in Baden, who is shown as a domestic; and Patrick Collins, age 25 born in Ireland with a personal estate valued at $430, who is shown as a farm laborer. No relationships are shown in the 1860 census.

A list done in the 1930's by Julia Mary Snow Thurtell showed that Esther Sovina Snow was born March 29, 1833, and died June 3, 1892, in Iowa.

The internet listing from Palmyra Village Cemetery, Palmyra, New York, found in November 1999 at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nywayne/index.html shows that E. L. Snow, daughter of Samuel and Hannah, died June 3, 1892, at age 59 years.
