An index to the Palmyra Village Cemetery, also called the Palmyra Vienna Street Cemetery, Wayne County, Palmyra, New York, shows that Charlotte Sexton, wife of Pliny, died March 14, 1883, age 63 years, 6 months, 26 days. This index was found on the internet in November 1999 at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nywayne/index.html. A list done in 1932 by Julia Mary Snow Thurtell of the birth and death dates of her Snow relatives showed that Charlotte Snow married Sexton and that Charlotte was born Aug 16, 1819, and died March 14, 1883.

She is listed as Charlotte Sexton, age 40 and born in Pennsylvania with real estate worth $400 in the 1860 U.S. Census for Palmyra, Wayne County, New York on page 812 or page 30. She is listed as living with Pliny Sexton, age 64 and a banker born in Connecticut whose real estate is valued at $20,000 and whose personal property is valued at $10,000; Pliny T.
