Notes for Maria S. W. BROWNE

The family tree done by Harriet Thurtell about 1900 and the History of the Thurtell Family done by Susan Persia Thurtell about 1968 show Minnie Browne married Frank Mulcahy and had no issue.

Information received from Peter Murray in 1997 shows her full name was Maria S. W. Browne, although she used the nickname Minnie, and that she was born in 1859 and died in 1902. It shows her husband was Lt. General Sir Franek Edward Mulcary, KCB. His information confirms she is the Minnie Mulcary to whom many old letters refer, and she visited Norton Hall in 1898. She and her husband had no children.
